Dr. Kerry Leonard, DMD graduated with honors from the University of Florida, she then attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her DMD. Following graduation, she was chosen for a residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. During residency, Dr. Leonard became proficient in providing comprehensive care in all aspects of general dentistry including complex treatment planning, crown/bridge, implants, tooth removal, root canals, digital dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Leonard takes a warm personal approach to help facilitate each patient in having an enjoyable experience. Her compassion for her patients as well as her attention to detail are qualities that help patients feel at ease and achieve their personal dental goals. She combines her passion for dentistry with her knowledge and experience in treating apprehensive patients to provide comprehensive dental treatment in a positive and reassuring way.
Dr. Leonard grew up in Florida just outside Daytona Beach. After residency, she spent time practicing in South Florida before moving to Fernandina Beach and joining the practice with Dr. Hall and his team. In her spare time, Dr. Leonard likes spending time with family and friends and soaking up the sun at the beach.
Education
Dr. Leonard graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, in Boston, MA. She went on to complete a postdoctoral AEGD Resident Certification at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Charleston, SC.
She also holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.

During her residency, she attended: MUSC post-doctoral clinics, North Charleston Community Outreach Clinic, Charleston Center for Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Clinic, Special Needs MUSC Clinic, Coastal Kids Dental, and the MUSC operating room.
